The Pennsylvania Medical Society’s JobBank is a useful, economical source for Pennsylvania physicians looking for jobs and employers seeking candidates for medical job openings. Visit JobBank.

JobBank is a part of the National Healthcare Career Network (NHCN), which includes most of the national specialty societies, many state medical societies, and many other health-care-related associations.

The NHCN helps:

  • Job seekers—If you choose, your resume is available to employers across the United States when they post jobs on an NHCN-affiliated job site like JobBank.
  • Employers—You have the option of having your jobs posted on the NHCN, making them searchable by more than 40,000 potential employees registered with the network. Jobs also can be listed through major website search engines (optional).

 Job seekers can post their resume and CV for free, set their own  confidentiality level,  browse and view jobs, and  set up a job agent that will email you when jobs of interest are posted.

Employers get targeted access to physicians and other medical practice employees in Pennsylvania and across the nation. JobBank and the NHCN give you search capabilities that rival expensive professional search firms.

Once a job is paid for, employers access to our database at no additional charge whenever you post a job. The mega job boards charge upwards of $500 extra to search resumes of often less qualified candidates.

Sorry. Cant really pay for an unknown product. You might try posting what you have before you start charging for it. Most search firms do some variation of that. Most are also free. This should really come out of our dues and be funded by employers.

This doesn't tell me how much it costs to look for a physician candidate. The example search had NO physicians as I recall & definately none in any specialty I would search for as the Med Dir of a 33 phys multi-specialty group. We would pay for a successful recruit, but not for this unknown product.
